john henrehan has more. >> reporter: police believe that henry levi sanders of the glenn arden area, targeted elderly people in his kidnapping and robbery spree and that this suspect put two victims in the hospital. the victims were customers at stores in wheaton. the attacks began the day before thanksgiving and continued on saturday and sunday. the suspect, 50-year-old henry levi sanders used a yellow box cutter to threaten victims, forcing them to drive to various atms and withdraw money. the victims were 75, 60, and 77 years of age. the oldest was beaten and cut by the assailant and had to be hospitalized. >> where's making progression as one suspects and that is a longer road to come back from when you're older and you suffer those types of injuries, which is probably why the gentlemen focused on some of our older citizens in the county. >> reporter: police released the store security video of the suspect and they credit calls from the public for helping them identify henry lei have sanders. the 50-year-old was arrested around 4:00 p.m. on tuesday in front of his home near glen arden. as it turns out,
