henry bishop and john and mr. spangler george spangler bought the property in 1848 from henry bishop, the first recorded deed on this property is 1905. i want to say that to you again, this property dates back all the way back to the grant. 1681 dates back a lot further than that. of course, native americans here in this area, the first recorded deed on this property is 1905. because if i show you something and i get it notarized don't need to have good town a courthouse shot. almost everybody records a deed, but at time the civil war or beforehand that was not necessarily the way that they the way that they did things. and mr. spangler had a very prominent form here. he made a living farming the andrew family. families later on had this did not make their living off of the land here. they had other jobs and informed on the site. mr. spangler didn't do that he had a very profitable property and this farm had two owners that a 100 year period so the andrew family owned it 50 years the spangler owned it over 60 years
