john hinckley lawyers say he has been freed of mental illness for decade and should be allowed to live full-time at his mother's home. prosecutors oppose the release without additional restrictions. alison: three judges will determine if they will drop public corruption convictions against former virginia governor bob mcdonald. mcdonald's lawyers and prosecutors are in a richmond court arguing their cases. abc7's jeff goldberg was there and has this report. jeff: a spirited case this morning. the three judge panel asking a lot of questions. the panel will now decide whether or not to uphold or overturn this conviction. here now is video of governor mcdonald leaving the courthouse inside the courtroom, his wife maureen and four of the five children in attendance. mcdonald's lawyers argue he should not have been convicted and it should be overturned for two reasons. first, he took no official action on behalf of johnny williams. of course, the businessman at the center of the corruption scandal. the second argument being made from the defense is that judge james spencer did not sufficien
