kennedy's father, john fitzgerald. the president is named after his maternal grandfather. he was a two term mayor of boston. so both of jfk's parents were coming from political families. they definitely had some great connections. mrs. kennedy would dedicate herself as a full-time mother to her children, a job that she took very seriously, and a job that became very busy for her as she ended up having nine kids. so this is a picture of the two boys. it is taken right outside of the birthplace and it's looking northward. you can see all of the open space behind the boys. the house that the kennedys bought was actually the last house on the street when they moved their. one of the reasons why they chose this home is so they would have lots of open space for their children to play outside. and joe junior, he's the older brother on the right, jack kennedy is the little guy on the left. jack is not looking very happy in this picture, and we usually like to ask our audience members if they can kind of guess what is making jack unhappy. so what is going on here is actually a littl

did john kennedy ever visit his old home or did robert kennedy or ted kennedy? yeah, so an interesting thing after the kennedy's moved to their second home their family friends and mr. kennedy's been business associate edward moore and his wife mary. they actually bought this house and lived there in the seven years that the kennedys were living at their second home and they were very close with the family and they would often take care of the kennedy children. in fact, eddie moore was that's who ted kennedy is after actually named after edward moore kennedy. so that's how close they were with him. he also became rosemary's godfather. and at one point when mrs. kennedy was pregnant with one of her daughters and about to give birth. she actually sent the boys to live back in the birthplace with the moors for several months. now after that after they moved out of brookline, i haven't seen anything about john f kennedy ever returning to the birthplace, but what's actually very interesting is martha pollock, who is the elderly woman living in the house in the 1960s
