so i get 50 senators and supreme court justices and the secretaries like hillary clinton and john kerry, and i asked everybody to read a passage from the constitution. so that we could have one thing that we could show on july 4, that there is a connective tissue that keeps this country together. this thing about our democracy very fragile thing and it is magical that, two hundred 40 years later, we are still celebrating this one document that our founding fathers wrote. the constitution and the declaration of independence were compromises. are we seeing that in politics today? isi don't know if compromise alive and well. it seems that whatever party wins, owns the keys to the castle. i am just hoping for when day you will take off the democrat line, the republican line, the independent line, and everyone will just call in as americans and not take this opportunity to bash each other. daye could just take one and hold the calls and all just act like americans for one day, i feel like that is my goal here. so i don't think it is appropriate, trying to make any political statements here.
