lanes of the bay bridge remain closed now as the chp investigates a shooting. christie smith is live in san francisco with all of the latest details. good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you, johnime we checked in with you the chp told us it might be 6:30 until the traffic situation started to improve here on the lower deck of the bay bridge. i have to tell you that has not happened yet. they tell me at this point they don't know when all lanes might reopen because of the ongoing chp investigation now in its fifth hour. because this started actually about 1:30 this morning, when the chp says they spotted a driver flying across the bay bridge, possibly 100 miles an hour on the lower deck. there was a pursuit but the car was so far ahead by the time the chp caught up the driver had crashed, gone through the "s" curve, crashed into the side wall. there was an exchange of gun fire. two people hurt but they were hurt in the crash, not by the gun fire. and taken to the hospital. at this point it's unclear who fired first or how that went down. that is part of the investigation. but this has gone sometimes to a complete closure and again right now it looks like we have two lanes traff
