john maguire reporting there. staying in scotland.m scotland have turned their homes into hedgehog hospitals in order to look after them. alison middleton and dawn airlie helped set up the scottish hedgehog rescue alliance and invited us into their homes. hedgehogs in particular have a really hard time. we've done a lot of things to destroy their habitats. and so i suppose for me, hedgehogs felt to be quite an underdog. they were really struggling and in the wildlife world and they're one of our native mammals. ijust love the little creatures. i'm alison and i run hogs croft hedgehog rescue. so when hedgehogs come in to rescue dependent on what their needs are, they might come into a hutch. we also have heat mats that go under the hutches. a lot of hedgehogs when they come in, are really cold and they need heat. down in this zoo zone. here we've actually got three homeless. they are all from the same family. bella, who's the smallest of the three hoglets, still hasn't quite mustered it in for herself to the degree that we'd like her t
