"action news" reporter johnawlins -- let's keep telling you about it. overnight there was a fire there in a home in the 1600 block of middleton street. and it was down in the basement and this firefighter was there, found herself trapped and they managed to get her out of there but that fire spread to the upper two levels. it took them about 30 minutes to get this fire knocked down but unfortunately in that time that firefighter suffered mightily. they took her to einstein medical center where she was pronounced deceased. we'll continue to watch this and bring you the latest as it can comes in. >> back to the nor'easter churning up the coastline. it's led to the closing of the ocean city school district for the day. other closings listed on the web site and the bottom of your screen. the jersey shore is getting particularly hit hard.
