montgomery county state's attorney john mccarthy is announcing a self-admitted carjacker now admitted a guilty plea. it was all caught on camera. now 23-year-old taron white is looking at 40 years in prison, the video of that chase and the dramatic ending. >> reporter: he pled guilty to two counts of kidnapping in in video we'll show you. taron white's run from the law comes to an end in dramatic fashion. look at this video. that carjacking and kidnapping victim is seen jumping from the car with her 20-month-old baby in her arms. shortly after white surrenders to police and he's taken down by maryland state troopers. officials say this all happened on july 13th last year. it began at a baltimore gas station where white robbed the victim's car. investigators say the woman begged him not to because her baby was inside. instead he kidnapped both of them and led them through a four county chase that ended in montgomery county. the state's attorney john mccarthy says once this procedure is taken care of here in montgomery county, he will then have to face similar charges in every other cou
