john boehner and eric cantor are not there anymore. have they been replaced with paul ryan and kevin mccarthy and are they run the same way?st: great question. i did not vote for paul ryan. opportunity to make a big course correction. we made a small course correction. it is run differently. i think speaker ryan is more inclusive than speaker boehner. it would be disingenuous for me to say that things have not improved because just yesterday, one of my bills moved through committee. boehner called ted cruz a few names. he's also called me names. he would say, i'm not moving bill because he is a whatever. paul ryan is not that way. we've moved one of my bills. that is a first for me. it would have never happened under john boehner. host: that is to audit the federal reserve. guest: one of the most popular bills. from past the wall. audit the i would federal reserve. he had the delegates from five states that he was more successful than anybody wanted to knowledge at the time -- to acknowledge at the time. his hallmark bill was audit the fed. his last term in congress and paul broun took over the bill in the 113 congress. he

secretary of state john kerry criticized republican presidential candidate donald trump at a commencement speech ver the weekend -- covers -- theo house returns from a 10 day break. kevin mccarthy has dubbed the upcoming week opioid week. why is this an issue that the house is focusing so much on? quest the senate has done a version of it. because of a lot of these lawmakers have a problem back home where the opioid abuse epidemic has hit their constituents. now and election season, it is coming home where they feed the need -- feel the need they need to do something about it. >> the legislation coming out of the committees, one of those again with justice department grants. how much money is attached to that lack of how would states benefit? >> that is going to cost under $300 million over four years. becauset a lot of money the deal authorizes it. to allowttee is going to states to use the money fight addiction in various programs. >> what will be some of the other areas that this opioid week will touch on in terms of the other bills? >> there are bills that are going to cut just touch on -- touch on opioids in athletes, mothers and the amounts that doctors can prescribe. >>
