john. we know the pilot's name tim mccormick, the only fatality in the helicopter crash. accounts he was an experienced pilot, had about 20 years experience under his belt, the past five years, flying executive aircrafts for a real estate group. and that particular helicopter was registered out of new jersey, except law enforcement sources tell us that it took off from a heliport in manhattan on the west side, went south near the statue of liberty, then came up east before crossing into the heart of new york city onto the building behind me, getting into restricted air space. the reason it is restricted, trump tower is not far from here, that's where the president stays when he is in town. you can imagine what the crash landing was like at this high-rise in manhattan. listen to what folks were saying. >> you could feel the building shake. >> wasn't until we got outside the building we understood it was actually a helicopter that hit the building. >> if you're a new yorker, you have a level of ptsd, right, from 9/11. so as soon as you hear an aircraft hit a building, i thi
