john muller is here with the latest on the search. >> reporter: the case on the verge of growing cold, heating up again. it's been three weeks since the coed was last seen riding her bike. two weeks since the bike was found in a waterway. now, a private eye thinks he has a description of a suspect that could help break the case. these are the last known images of mickey shunick, the 22-year-old college student was last seen leaving a friend's house late at night three weeks ago. police have been scouring the area for clues. but now, this man thinks he may have the answer. john is a private investigator hired by an anonymous donor. he tells our affiliate katc, he's received two separate tips that seem to describe the same suspect. >> they appear to be creditable and knowledgeable. i thought it was more than coincidental that both of their descriptions were the same. >> reporter: he says he received more than 250 calls in less than a week. but two tipsters, who he says don't know each other, have given an almost identical description of the same person. police say they're treating this
