i did think john solomon the executive better who was up the times for a year and a half he came over right after i signed the contract and i don't think he minded at all. i gave him a signed copy i think my editors who were looking the other way who knew i was heading down to bahamas to interviewed jimmy while we have the political crude-oil dealing with the other crew. but no provision had to be granted. the thing with "the washington times", i will speak for the other reporters are like to say we are conservative editorially speaking and take the position similar to the "wall street journal" like the sacramento bee and there are many others. the reporters take offense at that because they r.j. school graduates they took journalism 101 and every other course offered a right to the middle of the road and cover both sides i do believe we are fair and balanced and let the editorial guys who do not put their name on anything.
