it is not governor john sununu. i don't even know john's last name. there was a heated discussion we were having. a letter arrived that was distributed simply signed, john. it addressed, dear congressman. it was read out loud. it provided a little bit of levity in the midst of an extremely serious discussion about spending and taxes. somehow i had found in my files the letter. you will get a gist of it pretty quickly. dear congressman, my name is john. i am a warehouse man at a local company. my wife works part-time at a day care center. together, we take him not much more than $1000 a month. i used to be a farmer. i am 56 years old with a high school education. we budget our money carefully and usually spend no more than $50 a month on beer.
