. >> good morning john updike. so today this is an approve of an amendment. this location houses on the entitle of the second and third floor dp h mental counseling provided for the chinatown community. it was recently upgraded and here's a long time the property. the city's lease is for 89 thousand 2 hundred and 50 square feet and we've been here for 5 years. the next will be 26.9 thyroids a month. that rate is fixed for the entire 5 year term. we have found that accident market rate is about 298 per square feet per month. there is a note in the budget report about the department missing a particular notice for on option. and certainly our department regrets losing that opportunity that would have been more automatic in nature cigarette the rate at the 98 percent. this happened back in 2011 when we failed to do so. i want to note recognizing that error. staff proposed a one year exception and we've secured a rate freeze for the last fiscal year. this effected our savings this pass fiscal year by not increasing the rent over the past 12 months. so while we re

. >> and john updike from the department of real estate will present. >> good afternoon. so pg&e is embarking on a safety plan that upgrades their lines. several of those lines ran adjacent to our sf puc lands. there are some instances additional easements are needed beyond what they have from the city. this project, the crystal springs station is one of those and includes automated valves and technologies and want only make their lines safer but protection to our critical infrastructure. this is located not far from the crystal springs rest area off the i-280 if you can picture that location. this is literally a spoken's throw from that location. the value was set at aiment -- $15,400 and we agreed on that amount and over an acre in construction easement rights. those rights will expire in six months and in addition to that modest amount of compensation we have insurance and endimmity language related to the new easement rights but the existing ones as well to further protect the city. there is a letter from planning. the sf puc commission approval and the ceqa findings

alright, john updike for real estate wants to weigh in, give him two minutes, just kidding. >> good morning supervisor. to expand the supervisor campos's question, we are in the search for several months and looking at several major facility needs for the city and is part of that analysis and outreach of the brokerage committee i'm hoping we will also find some other opportunities beyond what susanna mentioned that could suffice for a longer-term solution. because we have things such as our elections need which is a very large need; central shops need, these are in the order of 50-100,000 square foot requirement so we are out there in the marketplace and we continue the dialogue and hopefully something might come out of it. perhaps it will work for the project we might work for this. >> supervisor cohen: -- there is a whole industrial area that might be helpful, you have trade shops out that way large enough to possibly accommodate. alright thank you. seeing that there is no more public comment on this item, this item is closed.
