john boehner practiced when he preached in this tax bill. they found common ground which was a signature issue in the white house. the president rain against the bush tax cuts and what john boehner was talking about was compromise principle. it's a battle of semantics, what you call it. the most important thing is what you do. i think john boehner is willing to find common ground, not willing to compromise his principles in the old tradition of ronald reagan who worked with democrats. megyn: dick, it's interesting to hear him say this he's not going to compromise, that he wants common ground, when we have steny hoyer who is the majority in the house saying the senate is going to vote on this tax deal and it's going to come to the house and you can expect some changes by the house in particular with respect to the estate tax. the republican leader in the senate mitch mcconnell already said this is the deal. and they said joe biden went to the house and senate saying this is the deal take-it-or-leave-it. he's talking about changing it just like the republicans are talking about thinks the deal take-it-or-leave-it an
