john: anthony wilson is in breaking news one. anthony: we had fog a while ago. i will give you an idea how it looks on 15/501 in south durham. it is dark and we have rain falling but here is what was a little scary. a few minutes ago we were driving along this route and as you see it is very dark and there is thick fog such that you could not see where you were going. and that is not an exaggeration. it was so thick you cannot see the reflectors that marked lanes. and some of them may be missing because when they blue sometimes but it is fairly clear now but if you are driving between now and sun-up if you hit the fog we described do not rush because you cannot see where you are going going. on top of the slippery conditions with the rain be aware of that and proceed carefully. in fact, it wouldn't be a bad idea if you hit the fog to put on the flashers to make sure somebody behind you is not moving too fast. these are conditions that could prevail. not happening right now. just rainy and potentially slippery. so take your time if you are among the early commute
