john yarmuth?don't know exactly what he thought i was talking about, i was talking about budget resolution program's. that's resolution programs. nash resolution -- resolution programs. there is a very good chance that would be the case, that we would end up doing a continuing resolution before the end of the fiscal year which is september 30. we are going to pass our operations in july and totally the senate will move and we can come to any agreement. we have been stuck over the last few years primarily because we have not had one party control over the congress and the white house. it is very difficult to get an agreement on appropriations bills and aboard. a continuing resolution -- and avoid a continuing resolution. but we are going to try. the continuing resolution would not be for the entire fiscal year, just so we have time to come to an agreement. the rest of it, i don't think i want to deal with chinese labs and those types of things. we will let tom ask that of somebody else. i am charge

i spoke to chairman john yarmuth the other day, he told reporters he didn't think it was going to be possible for democrats to pass a budget in the house because of the defense number. it is difficult. in lieu of that, they may have to do something with the numbers , rather than vote on the budget they may just have to set overall funding levels and avoid this messy roll call vote in the house where everybody has to go on the record about defense funding. caitlin emma from politico, i want to share with you this headline from the washington post, "democrats seek to speed up infrastructure based on comments made over the weekend by pete buttigieg." he appeared on fox news sunday and was asked about the middle-class tax increase to pay for all of this. if you ask john yarmuth, who is crafting the framework for these proposals of debt as a percentage of, he doesn't necessarily think that is the metric to look at. they are concerned about the possibility of inflation, but whether we are at debt at 100% of gdp or going upward to 117% in a decade under bidens plan, that is not the scaring thing -- the scary thing for democrats that it used to be. tom: what is the likelihood of more debt in washington on our balance sheet? it is just a given, right? jack: the likelihood of more debt being added in washington is about 100%. the question is how much. when you talk about these big proposals that the democrats want to use to follow-up on this infrastructure bill, will it $6 trillion or maybe slightly less? maybe the bigger question is how much will be paid for. we've heard talks from democrats this could may be halfway paid for resident fully paid for -- paid for rather than fully paid for. are we talking about a matter of hundreds of billions or maybe even trillions in the near future being added to the debt? lisa: how important are the lab

schumer, senator bernie sanders on the budget committee is a key player here, as well as congressman john yarmuthchairman of the budget committee in the house. and richard neal on ways and means will be writing the tax portion of this bill. he is definitely going to be a key player in the next couple of months. lisa: is there a pipe dream for president biden to try to appease both sides of the aisle and he further left constituents? emily: it may be a pipe dream, but it is a pipe dream he is aiming for. despite the fact that across the board they have many different ideas about how big or small this package should, they realize they need to get something done. they are all united on that. they all want to see a bill. they realize their control of the house and senate could ride on that. democrats want to be able to go back to their constituents and say we were able to pass this, we were able to give you this, this benefit is now coming from us. so democrats do want to pass something. once again, the devil is in the details. exactly how big can go mansion go and how small ashcan joe manchin go --
