i've been speaking to jon donnison, who's our correspondent injerusalem, and asked him if a ground incursiont. we don't know exactly when it's going to happen, and we don't know what scale it will take and how long it will last. now, we did get a pretty good sense from yoav gallant, the defense minister, as we heard in lucy's report there, that it could be pretty soon. he was talking about a possible incursion as soon as today, so that's in the next few hours. but i think what's important to remember is that it could initially be quite limited and quite incremental. so it may be that israeli forces go over in one particular sector of the border. they might not push in too deeply to start with. they might then move on to another sector further along the border. i'm not sure anyone is anticipating thousands of troops to cross over the border along the whole length of that frontier. so we do think it's increasingly likely that it's going to happen soon, but we don't know exactly what form that will take. and do we know what kind of response that could be met with? we don't. i mean, one thing's
