on this i want to bring in donna edwards, former democratic congress woman of maryland, and former chief communications adviser for republican speakers paul ryan and jon to the both of you for being here tonight. i want to start with you. donald trump playing golf and doing campaign stops at a bodega in new york. is there the possibility that there is a very real impact because of this trial on the flow of his campaign? >> absolutely. look, running for president is a hard thing, and it is exhausting. so i don't blame him that he is not out there every single moment doing it. but i think that is i would happen in the supreme court today could have an incredible impact on the rest of this election. it could actually sway the election. the current case, it will last a few weeks, and if that's all he has to do that he might be able to survive that. but if he is stuck in a courthouse for months on end throughout this campaign, and that is the context in which we are seeing donald trump, if that is how people are associating him with it, forget the fact that he is not campaigning. if that is the story of donald trump's election, he could be a huge trouble.
