both of these leaders came into the summit that we were told by jon huntsman, don't call it a summit, it is only meeting. whatever you want to call it, a summit or a meeting, they both came into it looking for something. that was to improve the relationship between the united states and russia. you heard vladimir putin saying in response to a question from one of my colleagues, did you want president trump to win the election? he said yes, because he had talked about changing the u.s.-russian relationship eared this was the first time that the two had an opportunity to sit down in the room together for any appreciable amount of time in the past year. there have been a lot of things that have happened since then, it was clear that they both want to improve the relationship. vladimir putin saying that they have points of divergence of the relationship, but they also have points where they come together. it is better to focus on those points of convergence than what separates the two countries. >> stunning moments. just stunning moments, john. so many of them. when the president said he
