elizabeth: let's welcome to the show "new york post" columnist jon levine. ck on. jon, now we've got chris cuomo not doing any homework, downplaying fbi whistle-blowers in the senate report on hunter biden's national security risks in the biden family's pay-to-play deals overseas selling access to the u.s. government. let's watch this, watch. >> this idea of you have to fight the other side and if you get in you will investigate hunter biden, you will investigate the bidens, you will investigate the border, how is that going to make anything better? everybody is sick of political investigations. nobody trusts what any of you do when you investigate the other side. why contribute to that again? elizabeth: what do you say, jon? >> i mean, i watched that, you got to be kidding me? we just spent four years investigating every single, unhinged conspiracy theory about donald trump. the mueller investigation, the steele dossier, which found nothing or it was completely bogus and debunk. now we have new president, people saying move along here, nothing to sigh here.

elizabeth: joining us now "new york post" columnist jon levine. jon, great to have you on., your take on this, gop senators chuck grassley and ron johnson sent 200 pages of bank records including 100 pages of unredacted documents and bank records to the u.s. prosecutor on the hunter biden criminal probe detailing the biden family's overseas deal-making. what do you make of this story? >> yeah. that is breaking today. you know it is a major development. one of the key aspects of this investigation, if republicans take back the house is going to be bank records. we know that mr. comer, the ranking member of the house oversight committee has said the 150 suspicious activity reports generated by hunter biden will be one of his key focuses. so we're still, we're still learning what is in these documents. remains to be seen if anything incriminating there but it's a major, major development. elizabeth: jon, we talked about this. it is the biden family uses off-balance sheet shell companies to bury the cash flow from these questionable deals overseas. we've seen the documents as w

darrell issa from house judiciary with "new york post" columnist jon levine.nks for joining us tonight. first congressman, your take the justice department reportedly has enough evidence to charge hunter biden with a tax crime and gun purchase crime? >> it is the tip of the iceberg. what i've seem on his laptop and other places show there is a lot more than that the real question is, you know, since the big guy and the brother of the president are also implicated are they going to be put under the same scrutiny. elizabeth: what more evidence do you have, congressman, before i get to you, jon? what else have you seen on the laptop? >> what we've seen, in one case a draft that includes jim biden back and forth planning what would, i would call foreign activity and foreign lobbying. as a matter of fact, the amazing thing is, he says i'm not a lobbiest in that. that is just the tip of the criminal iceberg of their foreign lobbying. the big question now, and you alluded to it in the opening if there are no logs then how do we in fact show the conspiracy when the pr
