we checked with our meteorologist jon loufman for the wake-up forecast. hey, jon. >> brian: as novembers go, this is a beauty so far and it continues through a day that, yes, as brian said feels a little chilly. 54 by 3:00 in the afternoon after a morning start in the 40s at many places. a couple of degrees shy. along the lakeshore temperatures are in the 50s because they're next to lake erie's warm 50-degree waters. you get into the 40s as you move inland, but no reason not to get out and take that jog, that morning walk, whatever you care to do as skies continue to clear and that clearing trend will continue into the afternoon hours. kids at the bus stop need a jacket. dry but chilly. 'r if you're near the lake, you're going to be milder, but away from it maybe a little cooler. that's the ballpark. at least we'll be playing in. what about the weekend forecast and election day? what about the next week of november? we'll talk about it coming up. i'll have details on it hour-by-hour, but right now what's going on on the roads this friday morning commute? l

i'm meteorologist jon loufman in for sam. it is a day of grey skies. where will we go from here? as temperatures continue to we got enough breaks in the cloud deck by 3:00 in the afternon and start the tumble back into president mid 50s by 11:00 at night. the next weather maker will be on election day when we look at the possibility of a few showers around on tuesday. risk of showers under variable skies. temperatures in the low 60s on election day. between now and then, things much quieter. you can see the breaks in the cloud deck that we have now. we will see some then through the afternoon and then as we make our way through the impossible to see that cold canadian air coming across lake erie and generating a lake-effect rain shower. if we get anything, it's going to be stray, it's going to be brief, and, if you walk out today, as compared to yesterday, you are going to find it's 16 degrees colder and that record high temperature of 78 has been replaced by temperatures in the 50s now. there are the 50s. still a couple of 60s south of us because the colder air really hasn't fil

reporting live in the storm chaser, i'm jon loufman, cleveland 19. >> be safe. right now, you are looking at first energy power outage map. there are scattered outages in northeast ohio, most of them with a handful of c affected t. largest one in seven hills, they are up to 500 customers without power. crews are out all over the area working to get electricity back up and running because you are going to need it with tonight's chilly temperatures. cleveland 19 cameras caught these pictures at hopkins airport base. whenever the snow flies, they are ready. more than 100 workers and 60 snow removal vehicles did a dry run. the airport has made big equipment after being fined by the faa for not being prepared during the last winter storm. cleveland 19 is all over this storm thanks to our viewers all over northeast ohio. check out the scene in avon lake. it looked like there was a lot of sleet coming down. that didn't seem to be the only thing. they had bad wind over there too. watch the cover start to start flapping off. there is a girl's chair, fw these pictures are

if you're watching jon loufman in yesterday evening, he was kind of telling you that today the rain chances would be very small. i would not rule out a stray shower or two throughout the day, but i think rain chances are a little more impressive tonight. our temperature trend, upper 30s at 7:00, 43 midday and an afternoon high today of 45 with, shower or two popping up during the day. by sunset and onward is when our rain chances are a little better. we go with scattered showers at 7:00 tonight, so high school football championships taking place this evening. there may be some rain around, and as it gets colder outside, there might be snow that mixing in. we drop into the upper 30s overnight. then into tomorrow we really don't warm up much at all. day. the wintery mix we have around tonight, that hangs around through the day tomorrow. i don't think we're going to see major accumulations, but with scattered lake-effect wintery mix all the way along the lakeshore and into the snowbelt, there could be a dusting up to an inch of snow we pick up late tonight and into tomorrow. again, nothing lik
