jonathan ivelaw—chapman flew in to dulles airport near washington from london's heathrow airport and waiting in a line at customs. the irony is the flight was only seven hours and it took me five hours to clear through from landing. just to depart the airport, in fact we have just managed to get out through customs right now, so i have just managed to get through. what was interesting was watching how the american cues, how the locals, the domestic passengers were dealing with this. they were clearly more clued up. there did not appear to be a backup system in place, i am not familiar with the us customs process but there was a lot of noise coming from the american side of the hall, and really we waited until there was some improvement in the technical issues, they brought the system is a very slowly, obviously not to overload very slowly, obviously not to ove rloa d a ny very slowly, obviously not to overload any of the technical infrastructure rather than have hundred, a thousand people coming through in go, they slowly rounded up, thatare through in go, they slowly rounded up, tha
