former fbi special agent jonathan gilliam will join us, but first alexis mcadams live in moscow, idahou had an interview with the police chief yesterday. what's happening there today? >> hi, john. the police chief gave us great new information and says they are on good track to hammer out the timeline and where the victims were the night it went down in the house behind me off of campus, a private rental. today this is the most that we have seen of investigators at the home in quite a few days. they have gone inside, including the police chief himself back into that crime scene to try to gather belongings of these victims. because they had been talking to the families about some of the things they wanted from the girls and the police said we'll go in and give it to you at a later date. this is a step in the grieving process and in the investigation, but the crime scene is still sealed. they are doing everything they can to find the killer. >> it's part of what we do and we need to do that for the family. need to go in and pack up stuff and get it, take it at that a secure place. is it

. >> griff: jonathan gilliam joins us now. jonathan, what is your reaction to this story? >> i wish i had that sound bite that brooke just read, the quote from christopher wray. what he said tiktok is doing and what is possible, the threat they have, is exactly what the fbi was doing to the american people through twitter. so i think it is interesting, when you look at this and you look at how criminals typically act when they're questioned about this or evidence is brought forward, it is exactly like the fbi is acting now. when we look at the twitter files and listen to what the fbi statement was, these things don't add up and we see a thing called minimization, which subjectses and crimes do when you question them, minimize their involvement and that is what is happening with the fbi. there is evidence now they have done this and the exact same thing is being done on all these other social media platforms and the talking points fbi uses is same talking points you hear from the democratic party. >> ashley: why can't they speak to specific payment and reimbursement? these

. >> todd: bring in jonathan gilliam and focus on the car, walk us through what investigators are doinggard to that car? >> i'm not sure how the complaint came in, one thing, once this complaint came in and i said that was one piece missing, if this killer did not simply walk from somewhere local, there had to be a car or vehicle and if they identified something they were interested in, then it will start popping on cameras that are in and around that area. so there is obviously a reason they focused on this car and they say it is so importants, i believe them, this is something they are looking into. between hours of 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. in a college town on a sunday morning, it is going to be a virtual ghost town. if that vehicle is there and moved, it most likely got picked up on some kind of camera and that point they are now able to focus for the first time really, focus on something that could lead them forward. >> carley: are you reading into the statement from police about the car that it is the killer's car and does that mean this is a break in the case? >> well, i mean if police
