reporter jonathan vigliotti on new video that's helping with the timeline of the deadly attack >>> reporter: newly released video shows airport passengers and workers running away from one of the suicide bombers in istanbul. turkish media says the three attackers were captured on security cameras just before tuesday's deadly rampage. cbs news has learned that investigators believe the men were foreigners from central asia. dna tests are now under way to confirm their identities. turkish police say one of the attackers blew himself up at the airport's entrance while the others managed to get inside the building and detonate their bombs. >> very terrifying especially as you have these images the bombs went off okay you're still alive but now they come and shoot you, you think of everything you've seen. >> reporter: it's business as usual are travelers coming to the airport. but inside, crews are working to remove all signs of the attack and security is heightened. a cbs news source says that authorities believe the men trained and fought on the battlefield in syria and possibly iraq. in respo

and an attack at the airport in in istanbul turkey last tuesday as jonathan vigliotti report, the terror group isis appears to have a hand in all of this. >> reporter: the first explosion rocked baghdad's central business district engulfing an entire shopping mall in flames. against an orange sky, dazed shoppers and first responders sifted through twisted and charred wreckage for any survivors. the attack happened shortly after midnight sunday morning as families were eating dinner after fasting during the day for ce holy month of ramadan. baghdad police blame the carnage on a massive bomb in the back of a pickup truck. . >>> let's check in with jonathan vigliotti live from nice right now. jonathan, the suspect wasn't known to french authorities. what else are we learning about his background and maybe any possible ties to terror organizations? >> reporter: yeah. he wasn't on any terror watch list. but as we talk about all this petty crime and road rage, he was very clearly known by local police. here in nice, he worked as a delivery truck driver until he lost his job. he was also going through marital issues. his apartment was searched today by police, his wife was taken into custody for questioning. and several articles of clothing and bags full of material from inside that apartment were taken out. of course, a number of neighbors were also questioned during this entire process. at this point, though, according to a u.s. government source that has spoken to cbs news, there is no direct link to any terror network. his father said his son wasn't religious and that in fact, his son suffered from depression. so that is the latest that we are hearing on him as the investig
