on your side investigator jonathan walsh has been reporting on this. this is coming from the ohio attorney generals >>reporter: he revealed neerld $80 million going to crime victim service representations. of all parts empowering victims initiative. 79 .5 million total going to 356 crime victim service providers all across ohio. $25 million of that is going toward domestic violence victims, $20 million to sexual assault and $14 million to abused children. one of those is welcome house spent on a program that works with victims who have developmental disabilities and specifically those coming out of foster care. it will help welcome house establish a home for those people in need. >> food is included, rent is included. the individuals do not have to pay rent. so we're going to try to make it easy for them to gain independence, save a little bit of money and really on the back end, help them find a job in the community as well. >>reporter: good stuff. the overall funding from this grant is from the u.s. de all from federal settlements, fines and fees. no
