jose state university campus. she's heard from students about how it could affect them. she has more. ali andre making the decision about this, the cal state university trustees are meeting miles away from here and the long beach state campus to talk about, among other things, whether or not to increase tuition on csu wide across the state starting next fall. now, they haven't. that meeting got started about an hour ago. we've been keeping an eye on it. we can show you some video from it. they have not gotten to the item of tuition hikes just yet, but at some point today, the trustees are expected to vote on whether to increase tuition at all csu campuses by 6% every year. here is a chart showing showing how that increase would pan out. it works out to an extra $350 to $400 a year per student every year until the end of the decade. and under that proposal, they would be paying about 6% more each year in tuition. and by the year 2029, csu tuition would be 33% more expensive than it is now. i think that's pretty unfair compared to what people are paying. like the 60s and the like. late 1900s. i t
