i agree with josh though that you're not really seeing the all clear signals out there. the small cap leadership is something you want to see right here. in terms of reaction to the testimony itself, i really do think the market and investors were okay with the idea of a gentle, well telegraphed tapering process coming into this year. that only gets you so far. if there's one thing i'm pulling out of yellen's testimony is she doesn't want to buy into a structural change in the labor market. unemployment is all about cyclical factors. i don't really think that gets you beyond where we were on january 1st at a much higher level. the corrective process you can't say is over yet in terms of the stock market. >> though she did, mike, suggest that problems with the participation rate are if not fully at least a good portion due to structural issues. >> she says she doesn't know how to pull them apart. i do think she knows how to lead on the cyclical factors. you have to grant that both are at work but if you look at the way the markets are reacting they're saying she's not wil
