josh einiger abc seven news. stephanie. >> well, josh, certainly a lot developing. iran's foreign minister said on friday any cease fire in lebanon should be simultaneous with gaza. and as you pointed out earlier, there's a lot going on with negotiations. what's the latest between idf, netanyahu and hamas officials? >> yeah, it's a good question, stephanie. it's not entirely clear the specific state of play, but the cease fire negotiations on both fronts, it's two separate issues. there's the north, there's with lebanon and hezbollah, and there's the gaza situation, which involves the return of hostages and both have lately been stalled. so it's unclear what will break the logjam. today, israel was once again pummeling southern beirut, hezbollah strongholds and also today they were once again pummeling northern gaza areas where hamas, they said, had reconstituted a command center in what had been a mosque. and so the activity is still very kinetic, very aggressive and it seems hard to imagine that we're headed to a cease fire in either of these locations, much less
