>> jim -- >> albeit slowly. >> it's josh brown. the fact that even the most bullish wall street strategists, i'm sure you take what they say with a grain of salt, even the most bullish say we're going to need a lot more multiple expansion to get to your target. because the earnings growth simply isn't there. given that as the backdrop, what are you overweight sectors? what are your underweight sectors? >> yeah. i think this year's been all about multiple expansion. we've already produced the earnings, you know, around $100. the question will be are we going to be selling at 13 or 15 times earnings at the end of the year? i think it's going to be 15. the fed could help that by st d standing down and kind of showing some confidence in this. the sectors i like, i think the biggest one is the china story. i like the idea that emerging markets are likely to turn and be a big outperformer next year. i think you've got china easing for the last year now. they've dropped the shibor from 6.5 to 3.5. if emerging world picks up, in this count

josh brown, i'm going to you first. this is a rally that has existed largely because of the expectation of more action from the fed. is it coming today and if it doesn't happen, what does it mean for the rally? >> so wall street's strategists are like 76% thinking something happens this week. i think that number upticks substantially on the heels of the lackluster jobs report but now is where we get into a little bit of game theory because if there is no stimulus, you can expect the knee-jerk reaction to be a selloff but now think about it this way. you could see the bulls come in and say, you know what? maybe bernanke didn't see any immediate need to do something and let's interpret that that maybe there's an upscoring coming in and of itself. there's going to be a lot kind of that stuff. i think it's important to note gain the knee-jerk unless you're an intraday trader. >> joe terranova, how do you think the market's going to reakd? >> i think there's two conversations. first here's what the math is telling you. when

josh brown, you're sitting in front of your screens. around noontime or so something turned around in the market. spain seems like the answer. >> today the narrative is that spain unveiled a budget and it was a lot more amenable to what they thought northern europe would approve. there's pent up money. that gave them a reason to buy their favorites. they came in and did just that. it's another situation where flows are trumping fundamentals because if you looked at any of the economic data this morning, there was nothing to like. literally nothing to like starting from durable goods, gdp. i think people have money to put to work. today they said, spain's good, let's buy. >> i agree with that. people are looking to jump in on any positive news out of europe. i think underneath that are the technicals that you have to pay attention to here. the market's giving you these strong levels of support. today it was right around the 1425, 1428, 1430 level. we hit a low of 1433. when we held that level i think that coupled with spain had a lot of

josh brown is on the fast line. fiddler on the roof references are welcome but you're buying this one? >> i am. i pulled the trigger this morning at about 10.29 a share. you're going to know if you are wrong here very quickly. you said it stopped at 9.95, something like that. it looks like it wants to hold 10 today. that will tell you that early support from this morning is not going to rematerialize and get out very quickly. if you're an investor, it gets a little bit trickier. i think for a trade, if they hold this level, you put the nice candle on the day. there's really no serious resistance until 12. that's a pretty good risk reward. the story of apple getting in can't be ignored. it might be overdone, though. keep in mind, apple is only 20% of the smartphone market. so even if they get to 30%, people can use a pandora app without apple competition. >> i just wonder if this is news and pardon the punt, is it the first bite of the apple here? is there room for somebody else down the road to get into the space? a

josh brown, what is it? >> i'm going to talk about nuance. nuan on the nasdaq.laying the smartphone and the iphone trade know this stock, but what a lot of people don't realize is there is a lot more to this company. let's get into the technicals very quickly. we put a trading buy on it this morning. it double bottomed at $20. very, very significantly the volume confirmed, et cetera. so we think there is a really good risk-reward setup. stock probably trade into the 30s. there's not a lot of resistance between here and there. people should understand this is way bigger than just the iphone. this is the voice recognition technology. so you can talk to siri, but you can also do a lot more with this. in autos there is a huge growth potential and they're doing business with all the major manufacturers. health care dictating medical terms over the phone. any time you call customer service, before you get a human operator, we talk about how this economy is all about replacing humans with software and with robots. this is a really good example. can you carry on an enti
