it is a critical week for the markets and trading today's action with josh brown. steven weiss, and simon baker. josh, welcome back. what to do you see? >> there's only one word we need to use today and that is precarious. i think we're headed into april in much the same condition we have been the last three years in a row. we've had a killer first quarter. just about a year's worth of average gains already. no pullback in sight. not even a 3 percenter. quite frankly, the earnings picture is not great. seven-year highs for negative preannouncements right now and estimates have never been higher. high expectations, the companies are telling us something different. unfortunately this is all coinciding with softening in the pace of economic improvement. surprises are not coming to the upside any longer. now they're coming to the downside. i would say this is not where you want to be adding new longs and i think you want to look at your positions and be selective about what you're going to continue to hold into this earning season. >> precarious, steven weiss, is the wo
