police come to the scene, they discover that that man with the gun is, in fact, joshua aroyo. joshua is confronted by the police, shows police his weapon, shows him his license to carry the weapon and shows the police his badge. at that point, the sergeant asks aroyo to come to the front of the store to continue the conversation. whenaroyo goes back to the booth with his dad, that's when the scuffle begins and you see the police sergeant choking aroyo. >> it's a strange story. because we can't hear the conversation, we don't know what kinds of words were exchanged before aroyo tried to go back to the booth and before the scuffle started. >> now, aroyo following this was arrested. he was taken to the hospital first after complaining of some injuries. but he was charged with recklessly endangering another person, and disorderly conduct. but no gun charges. because he had a license to carry and he was very open about the gun that he had on him. >> i don't understand what he did wrong there. >> that's the controversy. people are wondering. we contacted the philadelphia police depar
