our jenny joyce on the scene this morning. what do we know, jenny? >> reporter: good morning, thomas, police tell us that yes, necessary critical condition, but he is expected to survive undergoing treatment right now at chop. live on the 2600 block of hick street where the shooting happened. it is where the 11 year old boy lives with his parents and four brother and sisters. police tell us just before 12:30 this morning they found out that a child was transported in a private vehicle to methodist hospital after he was shot in the face with a revolver. the boy was then moved to chop for treatment. the shooting happened in the victim's parent's second floor bedroom at this point police believe this was an accidental shooting but police don't know how the child got his hands on the gun. according to police, both of the boys' parents and all of his sib rings were home at the time. the oldest child in the house just 13 years old. detectives right now are interviewing family members to try to get some more information. >> doctors at methodist hospital ini
