( jr stone ) here is the latest information on the wildfires. statewide... 40 people have died. we received updates today from sonoma and napa counties. the sonoma county sheriff says three more bodies were found.. bringing the number of dead there to 22.( justine ) napa county found two more bodies in a home... the total there is six. the number of structures and homes destroyed in the flames is 57-hundred. in santa rosa alone... more than 28-hundred houses have been wiped out by fire. ( justine ) we saw another fire erupt in santa rosa overnight... and that has led to a new evacuation order. this map shows the area where people need to leave. however fire officials say it is to get them out of the area to help the firefighting effort. at this time... lives are not in immediate danger... but the threat of the flames has led officials to not take any chances. also... we have heard an area near coffey park is no longer under a mandatory evacuation order. you check the kron four website... and the city of santa rosa's website as well.
