kpix 5's anne makovec is in our newsroom with a look at the case against darrion miles, jr. >> reporter: he is set to be arraigned on eight felony counts this afternoon in martinez facing the possibility of life in prison. 17-year-old darrion miles, jr., is being tried as an adult. he is accused of kidnapping a dominos pizza delivery driver at gunpoint robbing and then raping her in antioch earlier this month. a deputy district attorney says the boy was wearing an ankle monitor at the time of the crime. he won't talk about miles' criminal past nor what the ankle monitor data shows. but he says it is a key piece of evidence. >> i don't know from minute to minute but it will pinpoint his whereabouts during a particular time frame, that's correct. >> innocent until proven guilty? read some of the reports in the news, man. read some of the comments these folks are saying. my son guilty. >> that's miles' father who says his son is innocent. he questions the police timeline of what happens and thinks the son and the driver are consensual sex. right now miles is in police custody. his bail set
