because of what they claim to be the juan williams affair at national public radio. the story hasn't gotten out clearly, despite the efforts that many of us have made to talk about the importance of looking at journalism for the sake of journalism. we are looking at arts and cultural broadcasting as one day could be the board of directors of minnesota public radio spent an hour of the board meeting, which is very rare enough time to spend examining the question of bias, and is there any basis in which to think that, that the news leaders of the organization who were part of the discussion are missing something, that they are not examining the story selection or the possible ways that bias. and tom rosenstiel is part of that. board left feeling very good that a discussion had occurred. the stations around the couch are beginning to look much more carefully to make sure that any charges that could be made are not accurate. but there is an overhang. and probably will be for some time. i think we got it bad brand in terms of all of the coverage, as did planned parenthood
