judy rivers: let me clarify. i didn't learn i was deceased in 2008 print in 2008 is where the problems started happening. i was not aware of what was causing this the actual first time i found out i had been listed as deceased was after my accident the insurance company settled. i went to a new bank and opened an account. they were happy to open my account and take my money, when i went back three days later to open a savings account, they reason me through the system. the bank manager came over and ran me through the system and said we can't help you today. and i said why not? and she said because the information we have reported you as deceased. i demanded to know who was reporting the information and also where it was coming from and as opposed toedly what day i died. they absolutely refused to tell me anything. by laws and under fcra, i thought i was entitled to that information. however the bank refused to give anyway information. check systems. april 2010 was when i found out i was on the death master file.
