cnbc's julianna ta tatelbaum joining us live from london. good morning to you. about how markets are looking this morning. >> it certainly has been quite a week, yasmin, especially for big tech stoxx. today u.s. stock features are holding steady, pointing to a firm trade starting this week. the s&p and nasdaq are on pace for four positive weeks in a row now, so big tech really marching higher. apple closing yesterday with a valuation of more than $2 trillion. tesla closed with a sharp price above the 2,000 mark for the first time ever. in contrast, the dow jones is on pace to break a two-week win st not every stock has been participating in the rally. one of the questions for investors is whether big tech can continue to outperform or whether there's enough enthusiasm baked into the prices. the march for equities comes alongside the number of rise of jobless claims. yesterday we got data showing claims rose to 1.1 million in the last week. economists were looking for 925000. the number of people claiming jobless benefits had fallen in the last two weeks. economi

cnbc's julianna tatelbaum joins us live from london on this. give us some information.rlier in the show. give us your perspective on the latest with these discussions. >> we know the democrats and trump administration discussed coronavirus aid on wednesday but white house chief of staff mark meadows said president trump will address unemployment insurance and an eviction moratorium but kperiexecutive a it's unclear if he has the power to do so. democrats have reduced their request for postal service funding. the bottom line, we don't have a deal yet and it remains to be seen whether we'll get one by the end of the week. there is one area in the economy that president trump has expressed support for and it seems to be bipartisan support. president trump said he's in favor of a plan to give $25 billion more to the struggling airline industry. a previous aid bill provided that to airlines as long as they didn't cut jobs until october 1st. and as we've discussed, airlines have warned that 70,000 workers their jobs are at risk come october 1st when this aid expires. on the b

here to explain, julianna tattlebalm good morning >> reporter: good morning. let's kick off what we're seeing in the mortgage market, federal housing administration mortgage delinquency rates hit the highest level in at least four decades. these are affordable mortgages typically the path that first time home buyers would use to access a mortgage as well as minorities and lower income americans. the delinquency rate for these types of mortgages hit 16% in q2, that is it compared to 6.7% for conventional loans so this just goes to show the difference the disproportionate impact the crisis is having on different parts of the economy you mentioned the changes that we're going to see to the pizza world. pizza hut will be closing up to 300 franchises operated by bankrupt franchisee npc international. they will be also putting the remaining 927 pizza hut locations up for sale. the company filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy in early july the closing pizza huts are the ones that are underperforming. back to you guys. >> a staple of a lot of people's childhoods, thank you
