can you put a picture of julianne moore in your film next to a picture of sarah palin. it is hard. talk to me about woody harrelson and julianne moore. >> she took on the challenge of this, the scrutiny she knew she would be under. really stepping into the spotlight. we were all concerned that it be as close to her as possible without being an in person nation or character. -- impersonation or caricature. she tried to go into sarah palin's head and find out what did she care about. how did it feel to be tossed out on that stage, to be attacked as viciously as a lot of members of the press attacked her. what were the anxieties she faced, having to prep for the debate? that is one of the most revealing sections which we double, triple checked. she really got that down before the debate and was almost shut down? i had a number of people say it was even worse than you are showing. i relate with her. i have had to step into summer in places where i feel over my head. she was not surrounded by people she felt she could trust. it was that difficult of a campaign. there was that much animo

>> i'm just -- it's so funny because i felt like there was a prism of like eight lenses, julianne mooresarah palin, watching tina fey i was playing sarah palin for joe biden at the same time this was happening. i really did study very hard to understand her and so that initial -- in the first part of the movie there's a little clip there that steve schmidt sees her about her being in an interview. i saw that same clip studying her. she is very articulate, very persuasive, she went sort of unchallenged especially in areas that she was comfortable with like energy and alaska. obviously when you're running for governor, those are the things that are most important. i thoroughly enjoyed the debate prep. it was totally different than what sarah palin's debate prep was.
