i'm julie julie haener and mike mibach in tonight for frank somerville. fred's ender was killed last night after being hit by a truck in alameda. police say zenner was walking in the crosswalk at lincoln avenue in walnut street just before 10 o'clock last night, when he was hit by a ford pickup. the accident happen. in just a few blocks from his home. police say the driver, 30 year old michael alexander williams of hayward, remained at the scene. officers say they later determined that williams was driving under the influence. the driver who was still on scene standing near his vehicle. the driver was completely cooperative with the investigation. it's impactful for the extended community and this circumstance. unfortunately it's part of the media community who we worked very closely with, so our hearts and prayers go out to ktvu and his history family. williams is being held on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter and dy ktvu has learned that he was involved in a previous crash in june of last year, we will have more on the life of friends ender in
