jenna >> julie. they launched their boat from here in sausalito yesterday, and they were able to get very close to the whale. today they searched from point reyes all the way down to daly city. and they said that they could not find it. and that is a big worry for them, they say, because with the approaching weather, that window to help the whale is narrowing. new images wednesday from noaa show the gray whale that was spotted tuesday off the coast near daly city. entangled in a gillnet. gillnets are used in fishing and have a fine mesh that is difficult to untangle. the giant mammal had swum up from long beach, where it was first spotted march 23rd, dragging the mess of net and buoys. the marine mammal center and noaa fisheries launched a boat with a rescue team. kathy george was on the boat and saw the whale close up. it was probably about 25 to 30ft. >> i would place it as a juvenile so it's not an adult whale yet and it was starting to look thin. it is not able to forage, so i'm pretty confident

. >> i'm julie julie haener and i'm mike mibach. mixed emotions tonight in napa, where the city remains in shock after the two young women were shot and killed this past weekend. >> the suspects were arrested just two days later. our crime reporter, henry lee explains what we know about the killings, as well as a growing memorial. >> a heart shaped memorial of balloons, candles and flowers in napa marks the spot where two young lives were lost. this is where 17 year old sasha and 19 year old eileen villasenor, the mother of a nine month old daughter, were shot and killed over the weekend on riverside drive, a stone's throw from the napa river. its namesake city. unaccustomed to such violence. >> that's pretty sad, because, we thought napa was like, you know, real calm, but i guess not. >> the gunfire broke out shortly after eight saturday night during a fight. napa police responded to reports of gunfire and found the victims. one died at the scene, the other at a hospital. witnesses told police a male and two females were responsibl
