julie banderas now with more. >> julie: head to chad pergram trying to lay out the lay of the land. tell us what is happening next. capital hill producer. what happens next, chad? >> we should be getting to the actual debate on the articles of impeachment in 40 minutes. this vote right now in the house floor is procedural called ordering the previous question. it is basically a procedural vote. you don't need to worry about it. a vote to have a vote. the next vote in the series is the actual vote what we've been talking about all morning law, the rule. the rule sets the guidelines for debate. the six hours that the house will devote later this afternoon and into the evening on the articles of impeachment. if you can't approve the rule you can't debate the issue at hand. they'll get everybody to the floor, procedural vote take more than the allocated 15 minutes. that's where i'm thinking maybe about 12:05. right around the noon hour in the east is when they'll start the actual debate on the articles of impeachment. six hours in congress time is really about eight hours in reality. so
