. >> i am julie haner. >> the 9-year-old girl was attacked by a parent who came to campus and targeted a child. the kid was lured boo the bathroom and attacked with the hammer. ktvu jana talks with us now, she joins us live now in oakland with more on what happened. >> reporter: when the district talked t they said this is a shock to the students and the staff. the girl was outside playing in the area when a parent lured her inside to a bathroom. that's where they say the attack happened about 10:40 this morning. the parent assaulted the girl with a hammer. officials say the staff knew thd attacker, she's identified as diome and she's a parent well known at the camps and they say she's a frequent volunteer at the school. >> two staff members did koim ce come to the bathroom and confronted the
