northern virginia bureau chief julie kerry and aaron gilchrist are on the panel for tonight's debate. julie joins us live. we have seen the round the clock commercials. what does each candidate need to accomplish tonight? >> first of all, let me say i have covered every virginia's governor race since 1993 and i am hard pressed to think of a debate with more consequence than this one. that's if part because the two have only faced off once before. that was way back in the summer when voters really were not focused on it. so this is their last face-to-face debate before election day. what they're going to be looking to do is to solidify the support they have, and then to try to shore up the places where they are weak. and what we found out yesterday in the poll is that ken cuccinelli is doing poorly with women. so he needs to find a way to appeal better to women than he has been doing. mcauliffe has to do a better job of convincing voters that he is best for business, that he is the person who can run the commonwealth as governor. >> a lot at sfak tonight. jewly k l julie kerry, we'll b
