julie phillips is in the forecast center. tomorrow maybe? >> jen, yes. we are looking at the chance to see a few more showers tomorrow morning. the good news is the bulk of the heavy rain and the stormy with. let's take a look at the radar now. there's an area of low pressure off to the north region. we saw very heavy what we'll see for the rest of tonight and into tomorrow is just some light showers. some areas are still dealing with some of those light showers moving in from the gulf. these are sprinkles and light showers moving through pinellas county, moving through parts of tampa as well and sarasota even seeing a few light sprinkles. earlier today though is when we saw the heavier rain. parts of southern polk county saw over 2 most of us though saw more around a half to an inch of rain. as we head throughout the rest of tonight expect temperatures to remain mild but the front moves through tomorrow and behind the front we will be looking at drier air rolling in and cooler temperatures. we'll talk about those coming up in your full forecast. >> juli

here's meteorologist julie phillips. >> thank you, josh. and we did have rain earlier this morning if you're like me, you may have woken up to the showers, but that has cleared out. and along the coast, we're seeing clear skies, blue skies at st. pete beach. 75 degrees. cooler at this location with a breeze coming off the gulf at 10 to 15 miles-per-hour. picked up 15 location. on the radar, we're tracking some clouds, but here's a loop over the last 12 hours, and you can see we did have showers streaming from west to east across the region earlier to clear up. you notice the the clouds have moved inland and all the rain has moved out as well. things are looking quiet for the rest of your monday night. not everyone saw the rain over the past 24 hours. you can see our southern areas and sarasota county and inland spots didn't see much in the way of rain and most of us saw less than a half inch of rain. as we head through this evening, expect temperatures for most of us to stay warm. bartow up to 88 in seabring. 86 in frostburg. tracking warm

let's go straight over to storm team 8 meteorologist julie phillips. >> good afternoon, stacy. it is a fantastic afternoon across really the entire tampa bay area. here's the view from sun city center from our camera there. you can see beautiful blue skies, just some high, thin cirrus clouds in the background there. 78 degrees with our winds coming in out of the west around 5 miles per hour, so a very quiet and comfortable afternoon for us. you can see on our radar, not tracking any showers, just a few clouds around for this evening. if you're noticing anything on the radar that's likely some fires brewing around. as we take a step back, you can see, though, that we are tracking a cold front. now, this is heading in our direction but notice the southern end of this front, not much action along it. it's running into dry air and it's going to be pretty quiet as it arrives in our area for tomorrow. but until then temperatures still above average, coming in at 80 in temple terrace and in lutes, 78 in odessa. temperatures gradually dropping back into the 60s. fairly quiet through th
