julieta ortiz: i've been to catalina twice, to lawrence welk, to a lot of places they take us. i have a rular wking ptern every morning. and i participate in a lot of the activities that they have around here. and the best thing is, we do not have to cook our meals and wash up! so we have plenty of time to do what we want. jennifer devoll: so for me, it's been very interesting to get to know older people on a very personal level. and i think the main thing that i've learned, is that there's so many stereotypes about older people, and they really are just people. like people of any other age, they are just all different personalities, d they havall different traits and quirks, and positive aspects that any other age group has. they are not to be stereotyped. they're just individuals. i hope i can live at least to be 100. really, i do.
