juliette goodrich leads our team coverage live from the coliseum for us. what was it like being with the crowd there today? >> reporter: there were so many people here saying, we saw it. we were here. we got to say good-bye. they weren't ecstatic about that feeling, but nonetheless they were here to cheer on. people are still kind of lingering now. i'm smelling that smell of hotdog, actually that could be because i got one, a last one from the vendor. i couldn't help myself. so there you go. good way to spend $10. fans were here bright and early i have to say and they were dressed in their oakland a's gear, so bright and fashionable with the t-shirts that say "the last game." their cars in the parking lot were there before dawn lined up ready to go. that's part of the experience as well. as we saw all these fans just lining up and kind of high fiving each other saying here we are, the last of the last, we got to talk to some fans and hear what they had to say. so after the game the team shared a special moment with the fans. they were tipping to the faithf
