a little fire there in riverside county, juniper flats, mandatory evacuation. just a 200-acre fire but only 10% contained. we also had a fire break out on one of the freeways in l.a. yesterday afternoon. firefighters managing to get a hold of that. the interstate temporarily at least one side shut down. we have weather alerts. fire weather alerts for much of the sierra nevadas and much of nevada as well in through salt lake city. reno could see winds gusting to 60 miles per hour. this is a potent storm system that's moving through the pacific northwest right now. record rainfall in quillayute, washington. this front coming through but dry weather for the rest of the west and gusty winds today and tomorrow, and those alerts do last through tomorrow. reno could easily see winds gusting maybe 60 miles an hour with dry weather. humberto, here we go. 175 miles to the east of cape canaveral and will stay offshore and strengthen. 60-mile-per-hour winds now. category 1, maybe a category 2 by tuesday, wednesday morning and then getting toward bermuda. we'll be watching
