let's go right now over to get a check of the forecast and say hello again to meteorologist justin burk. >> all right, charlie, let's take a look at these temperatures along the east coast. we've got 20s. i showed you some of the 30s on the hills and by the water. by the way, the cold air still locked into the south, a little modification, but montgomery, alabama 34. they're in the 30s again back towards pothole and this deep -- towards pensacola and this deep cold air locked in towards the lower tennessee valley and really across the upper midwest and the northern plains. another reenforcing shot producing some snow up there. we've got a split flow in the jet stream. you can see some tropical moisture, at least in terms of clouds across southern texas. some of that moves across the deep south and that may help to generate some showers here across the shoreline to start the weekend. but as far as we're concerned, we're in the squeeze play between them. we are looking at all this moisture in the form of snow. i show you this just because it's nearby and because it's not going to get much
